Evidence is mounted that weve entered the Anthropocene. if we continue our current emissions a 4C rise in temp by 21oo is as likely as not. Heat waves will occur more often, and last much longer. The Arctic will warm faster than the Global average, its likely sea-ice will all but vanish in Summer within decades. It is very likely sea level rise will accelerate. Monsoons are likely to become longer, their footprint - likely to grow, and DownPours likely to intensify. the Acidity of of the Ocean has risen 26% since the start of the Industrial Revolution, the full-consequences of all these changes on the Earths system are Unknown.
