[ Evidenced Based Approach ] Corporatized in the Courtroom. None of the issues that brought about the conflict between Michigan residents and Enbridge were allowed into the courtroom in defense of the #MICATS3 and their actions. After Enbridge spilled over a 1,000,000 gallons of Toxic TAR SANDS (Dilbit) into the Kalamazoo river and chose instead of cleaning up their disaster, to allocate resources to avoid cleanup, they lost all confidence any residence had in them. Enbridges next step could only be explained in light of an absolute impoverishment of integrity as they then aggressively set-out to use the spill to expand their pipeline right through residence yards by any means they deemed necessary. This video shows residents presenting their issues, complaints and antidotes in their dealings with Enbridge to members of the MICATS. It clearly shows how our legal system willfully fails to protect their/our interests, and natures interests, over corporate interests - domestic or foreign. It is in part because of the willful lack of protections in our legal system that Dr. James Hansen, Dr. Michael E. Mann, and Bill McKibbens co-authored an open letter on behalf of the #Enbridge3 (michigancats.org/dr-james-hansen-dr-michael-e-mann-and-bill-mckibben-co-author-an-open-letter-on-behalf-of-the-enbridge3/)
