Exactly 1 year ago today to this exact minute our daughter was pronounced dead. I hate that word, that is the first time I have ever written it or even said it. But its a simple word and the truth. 10 minutes later, I walked through the hospital doors and my life changed forever, our lives changed forever. Wed lost our princess, shed gone. It was only Millies 3rd day in that place, 3 days, thats all it took for our lives to be destroyed, 3 days in place were we, like millions of other people every day think that their child will be safe. Millie wasnt. She never came home again. I hate so many people because of what happened, things that we arent allowed to say or talk about yet. 12 months we have had to keep our mouths shut whilst the rumour mill has been going whilst people have told lies. Lies about what happened that day, rumours about what Millie choked on and lies about what exactly took place. Not being able to talk and people not knowing the truth has literally torn us to pieces. But the time is coming, we have held our dignity and we have stayed silent - but not for much longer ... Because between the days of 28th November and 6th December 2013 - the events of that day will fold out at Millies Inquest. The inquest, the inquest that we have had to countdown to, the inquest that has been postponed twice, the inquest where we have had problems with witnesses causing issues. But we are nearly there, our time has nearly come for us to speak and the truth to be told. Justice for Millie is coming and we will fight to our last breath on this earth for the truth to come out and the lies to be squashed. Its coming baby girl, well do you proud, love mummy and daddy, we will be with you one day again xxx
