Exactly a year ago, typhoon Yolanda battered our lives, tested our strength, measured our patience. Today we cannot help but look back on how Yolanda united us in purpose, removed our differences and made us discover the real meaning of sacrifice so that others may live. I had my share of the brunt of Yolanda but it is no match to those who lost lives and livelihood, homes and hopes. With our unceasing love and concern, we know that they will pull it through--soon enough.
