Examination of 6th generation Black Belts. Prior to this they run at high altitude (apprx. 3 miles) in the freezing rain approx. 8 miles (at a pace we set). They preformed without rest climbing skills, defensive tactics against armed and disarmed opponents, sparred and grappled in the mud (full contact) and this was only the beginning of the test. It continues until the next day and evening. Occasionally, I get invited to 5th degree black belt tests and when asked what do I think I have to say no offense but we do that at greenbelt level (3rd test in lower rankings) in Dux Ryu. The fact is if everyone could do it like us we wouldnt be Dux Ryu -- a REAL CLAN-- as we say: Blood makes you related but loyalty makes us family).
