Examples of how the lost May reason themselves… Without sin is always boring. WRONG. We must love what God loves and hate what God hates. God is a God of righteousness, He hates sins. We must hate sins. A life without sins is not boring. Curses are caused by sins, how much better would a life without curses? He is much worse than me, some murders I see on the news but I did not do it, though. I am a good person, well, not that perfect so I can definitely go to Heaven because the good people can go there. WRONG. We must not compare our sins to others. The Bible is our guide of the will of God wants us to be. Without full repentance and surrender, even one delayed repentance of a sin can lead a person to hell, that is eternal destruction. No sin can enter heaven. No matter how good we are, we can only be saved to Heaven through the blood of Jesus. Life is what it is meant to be…I know I sometimes do wrong (sinful) stuff but it is what humans are like, they fall. They can’t control themselves sometimes, I can’t really help it. WRONG. We conquer sins through the power of the Holy Spirit. These excuses cannot justify the sins commited. Yes, humans do fall but we must strive our best to please God, be remorseful for all our sins and thus turning away from the sinful lifestyle gradually. It is not an overnight process, it takes hard work…but it is worth it for the next life, eternal life other than the other way around. Maybe God would not know these secret sins so I can do it as no one is here anyway…WRONG. God is omnipresent, omniscience, all knowing, all seeing…those who misunderstand His characteristics may possibly due to the fact that they do not really know God by studying the scripture. I have already did a lot to God, this one (sinful) pleasure, let me have it my way of how I want to dress outside the public like with my mini skirts…WRONG. There is no compromises in obeying God. The lukewarm who compromises He will spit out and say to them to depart from Him. We must need full repentance and surrender daily. One unrepentant sin is enough to lead a person to hell. I think God is pleased with me all the time because I think so. WRONG. The reason here you may see pride in the speech, if this person weren’t in full repentance and surrender to God, he is deceiving himself. Even if we do, in my opinion it is best not to say God is pleasing to me…etc. He sets his own imaginary God in mind even when he sins, he thinks God always is pleased no matter how many times he sins without remorse just because he thinks so. No, that is deception of oneself, leading himself a freeway to hell. I have already believed God, I know Jesus has cleansed our sins through His blood on the cross. I am saved and I can do whatever I want of my own pleasure now! And after death, heaven will come to me! WRONG. Doing our own pleasure, as sinful humans we often may possibly fall into sins that we make it as our own pleasures. Believing in Jesus and accept His gift of salvation is just the beginning! You dont just choose your pick like your menu what you like from the scripture and ignore the rest. Work your salvation with fear and trembling. We must work on the relationship with God daily, have complete repentance and surrender and watch for His return daily. You dont just believe and not repent to be saved. See Luke 13:3. Faith without works is dead. Even the devil believes and trembles. Someone made me to sin, not my fault…God and devil tempt me to sin. WRONG. If you had the choice not to accept another person who forced you to sin, then it is also your fault because you had the free will to choose not to sin. For example, you have joined into a group of worldly people and they asked you whether you want to join with them to steal in cyber networking. And you answer them yes and went to steal. Stealing is a sin. God cannot tempt you to sin, and He cannot be tempted to sin. The devil tempted you sin, this could be possible but we can escape that temptation through the power of the Holy Spirit so that we would not give into wallowing the sin because of that. I think I am going to Heaven no matter what I did wrong because God loves me! WRONG. God is love and God loves even the sinners, but not their sins. We must have complete repentance and surrender of our life in order to get to Heaven, after stepped the first step of believing JESUS as our saviour. We need to be remorseful for all our sins and try our best to turn away from it by the power of the Holy Spirit…fully surrender our life, future plans, own will, burdens, everything to God. I have spent most of my life in following Jesus, it is time to rest a bit and I don’t care it is a sin if I do so because I followed Him most of my life. WRONG. We must endure until the end to be saved. We must work on the relationship with God daily, not just weekly nor monthly. Even full remorseful repentance and surrender. All else would be in vain if you one day on fire for God, the other day backslide and when the day comes to take you away in this state, you would be in danger of facing punishment in front of God. Just one sin, who cares about being sorry for just one. I think God is okay with me. WRONG. Just one delayed unrepentant sin would lead a person to hell eternal torment. Our spirits never die, our physical bodies would gone away one day, but our existence is eternal for we are being made in the image of God. God is eternal. Going to church would earn me salvation, if I go there every week, I can guarantee myself to heaven! WRONG. Deception. We do not earn salvation by works, for our own righteousness are like filthy rags. This is blaspheming the finished work of God. Jesus died on the cross for our sins once and for all, no matter how much sins you had in the past, it can be cleansed and cover you in righteousness solely because of His blood on the cross. This doesn’t mean you have the license to sin. We are now slaves to righteousness instead of sins for those who are born again in Christ. I can do all the good deeds and show love to others in the public, and that is alright, I don’t need to do it at home (false humility) I don’t really love others though truly WRONG. God sees the heart intention and motives whether it is sincere or not. There are no secrets before Him. Don’t even try to pose false humility before others and be hypocritical in your lifestyle. We are to love others as ourselves. God would forget and forgive my sins because my sins aren’t that bad as they are too small to count it as a sin. WRONG. Even the smallest sin is a sin. Stealing a post it note is a sin if it does not belong to you. Sin is sin and just that is enough to separate us human and God because of this sin. God is Holy and a God of righteousness. He is a prince of peace. Sin leads into destruction. Complete repentance of sins is required by God. I can wait until I get satisfied with my own pleasures and then, I will repent and surrender my life to God. WRONG. You never can be guaranteed to have another second to live. What if it is today? We never know when we will die as we aren’t God. Without full repentance and surrender leads a person to eternal damnation, that is hell. It is the right that God takes away and give a life. We have no rights. Many other reasons.
