Excellence in you art is when your energy, delivery, mastery, caring, value, and everything in between are the same when you are coaching or speaking for one person or a thousand, whether they are young or old, and there is no judgement of the person. I see many coaches pick and choose depending on the situation and what they may get out of it. This is a scary place to be because you are ingraining a habit of mediocrity, of being a great coach only if..... What you do when no one is watching, behind closed doors, even with just one person, day in and day out....with excellence - that is what creates mastery over time. Look in the mirror and ask yourself if that is you. Im grateful for the people in my life that have called me out at times when i veered from that so that I could become aware (awareness precedes change) and prepare myself for that to never happen. I appreciate all of those coaches. Thank you. Maybe this is your mirror and Im calling you out. If it makes you better than Im glad it helped. If its not you and youre begin excellent day in and day out, then that is great and you are an inspiration to others. Keep leading the way, I respect you.
