Originally assembled on December 13, 1965, this 1966 Corvette L79 is optioned with factory air conditioning, and comes pedigreed with an NCRS Chapter Top Flight from 2013, scoring a whopping 97/100 points! This BODY-OFF RESTORED cars paint looks to be recent, and is good-vg with a great shine. Every piece of exterior glass in this car shows a correct date code. Front and passengers rear chrome bumpers are vg-exc with a recent finish, as are the exterior chrome door handles. Drivers rear chrome bumper shows what appears to be an original finish, and is in good condition. Taillights are vg-exc as well, and weatherstripping appears to be exc/new. Knockoff style wheels are good-vg with good-vg center caps. BF Goodrich Silvertown T/A radial goldline tires show near full tread depth remaining at an average of 11/32nds. The interior of this 1966 shows exc/new seat covers and foam, door panels, and carpet. Steering wheel is in good condition, and gauges are vg with minor fade and vg lenses. Clock is working at the time of this writeup with a quartz movement. Dash pads are vg-exc, and correct GM seatbelts are vg, appearing to be recent. Correct appearing AM/FM radio is in place. The numbers matching engine in this 1966 Corvette L79 shows original casting date December 2, 1965, and final assembly date December 4, 1965. Correct air cleaner, carburetor, ignition shielding, intake manifold, exhaust manifolds, alternator, a/c compressor, hoses, and hose clamps are all in place, and both the engine compartment and frame have been very nicely detailed, and are super clean. This car has been fully serviced, and all instrument gauges, lights, turn signals, brakes, engine, transmission and rear-end are all in good operating condition.
