Exciting wrap up to 2014..just did the installation today in time for customers New Years Day open house in their beautiful Victorian Nelson home This one of a kind commissioned work consists of two windows each about 48 x 24 ( approx). I was given complete creative license for a unique Industrial Art Deco design. (nice compliment ) The amazing hand blown rondels were done by the very talented Dan Farden of OurGlass Studio & Gallery on Ward St. in Nelson. The vision for these windows was that of a pump or motor propelling material through a maze of industrial pipes resulting in subtle changes to that material as it became visible at several stages in the process. The action begins in the lower left of the left side window and terminates in the lower right area of the right side window after passing through zones in both windows along the way. I call this work THE FACTORY I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I did creating this work. :-) Please note that some of these photos were taken in my studio before the install.
