Exercising outdoors in the summer can be wonderful - and summer certainly motivates many of us to be more physically active than we are during the cooler months. The fresh air, sun (in moderation and with sun screen!), and variety we get while being active outdoors has many health benefits. But Journal Club member Susan Down encourages us to mix it up a bit and make use of that gym membership in the summer as well.
