Form Forge Fabricate 2014 To showcase the top talent of Colleges and Universities in Illinois and the surrounding States At Southern Illinois University, Carbondale University Museum. Through this exhibition we hope to increase the dialog across neighboring institutions and promote our craft to the community at large. SIMS is a student run metalsmithing organization and will be hosting their annual conference in conjunction with this exhibition. Eligibility: You must be a current undergraduate or graduate metalsmithing student in the following states: Illinois, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky or Tennessee. Important Dates: Application Deadline – Friday, September 12th 2014 Exhibition - October 15th – October 25th Reception – Friday, October 17th from 5pm-6:30pm Juror and images: The final jury selection will be made by Wednesday, September 17th. Notification will be sent by Friday, September 19th. Artist name and #1 or #2 needs to be provided in each image name. Image information: 300 dpi and an image size of approximately 3x5”.
