Exorcism Poem When the darkness in my mind Rapes itself around me like a snake, Like a python attacking my brain As my thoughts begin to ache , I trust that I will not parish, Because of the love I was blessed with And the source of this love is not anonymous, I love my creator, That divine spirit That showed me the theatre, That lifted me high in the lights, As I performed on the stage That helped my soul take flight, And broke me out of my cage And took my problems out of sight, He gave me my wigs to fly, So I can not go before I complete my purpose I will not die, And leave this life worthless I will not leave all of my dreams An uncompleted reality, My reason to live is not a delusion I do have a reason to be, Yes I have come to this conclusion So all my demons be gone, I refuse to die like this I will live free of your rejection I live my life as I wish
