‘Expats To Get Ration Cards’ KUWAIT CITY, Sept 8: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Public Authority for Civil Information has completed collecting personal data on foreigners of all nationalities living in Kuwait, as part of preparations to issue ration cards for one week in case of any emergency, reports Al-Watan daily quoting sources. The sources said once the cards are ready, expatriates will be able to receive them and use them only in the area they are living in. Sources added, the cards will be issued free of charge. Meanwhile, the sources added this comes in the framework of social, religious and legal responsibility Kuwait feels towards all people — citizens and expatriates living in Kuwait. It is worth mentioning that last week, the Minister of Commerce and Industry Anas Al-Saleh submitted to the National Assembly a study on Kuwait’s responsibility towards foreigners living in the country in case of any emergency Via Arab Times
