We have the following open position for one of leading business groups dealing in consumer electronics with retail outlets based in UAE. Position: Accounts / Backend Officers - Interviews at Cochin - 6th and 7th Sep 2013. Experience: With minimum 1-4 years similar working experience on the same capacity Strong understanding of accounting, credit control theory Experience in the consumer electronics or FMCG industry Qualification: B.Com / BS Accountancy Job Description: 1. Carries out assigned activities related to sales order, payment collection and document control ensuring compliance to the company"s objectives and financial structure. 2. Prepares client"s statement of account, invoices and billing statement as in when required for the immediate processing of their payments; ensures timely matching and posting of payment in the system. 3. Prepares credit notes (due to price reduction, promotions, duty draw back, discounts, etc.). 4. Prepares other accounting data related to the assigned activity (i.e. bank summary, turn over credit report, monthly reconciliation report, debit vouchers report, etc.). 5. Ensures smooth partnership with internal departments and clients for fulfillment of assigned activity. 6. Handles query from internal departments & clients and address this as much as possible; escalates to his/her supervisor if require. 7. Receives all documents related to his/her activity such as invoices, product prices, incentive database, etc., in line with the defined documentation standards. 8. Ensures timely and accurate updation of report / database related to his/her area of operation. 9. Ensures effective use of IT packages that the company uses (Oracle, Orion) for area of work. 10. Any other duty and responsibility as assigned from time to time. 11.
