Experienced HSE Coordinator needed ASAP in Conroe! Position paying $42-$55k plus an excellent benefit program that is only $26.00 bi-weekly for an entire family! Responsible for reporting all Workers Compensation claims and coordinating modified work program, • Liaison with HR Representative and Workers Compensation Board, appealing claims and developing recommendations to reduce injuries. • Lead the Health and Safety Committee at each US service center. . • Overseeing a comprehensive Emergence Response Program. • Liaison with all applicable Fire Departments and Public Health Departments (state and federal). • Researching and create policies, procedures and reports related to continues improvements on HSE. • Reviewing all incident reports, compiling and analyzing monthly statistics. • Providing training on various health, safety and environmental issues for all US employees. • Conduct and\or provide orientation of the HSE management system for new staff. • Maintaining confidential health and safety records where applicable. • Interacting with peers in external organizations. • Maintaining required record keeping and documentation. • Planning, chairs and participates in staff safety meetings. • Participating in related task forces and committees (e.g. safety awareness, disaster plan, etc.) • Maintain HSE corrective action program, including internal and external audits per legislation requirements. • Lead and comply with all applicable quality, safety, environmental and general standards and policies. • Employees may be assigned other duties, in addition to, or in lieu of those described above, according to the needs of the location or Company. Qualifications and Skills • Familiar with OSHA compliant procedures, standards, concepts, and practices within relevant industry. • Ability to liaise both internally and externally. • Ability to function as a team leader, team member as well as independently. • Competency in computer operations (ie: Microsoft Office products and ERP Systems). • Requires a consistent, diplomatic and responsive approach in a high stress situation. Educational Requirements • Assessment of the individuals qualifications and\or education will be performed on a case per case basis. • High School diploma, or equivalent and 5 plus years related experience with HSE systems. • Minimum 5 years experience with HSE management in a manufacturing environment - preferable.
