Experiments performed on the atomic level have always intrigued me - TopicsExpress

Experiments performed on the atomic level have always intrigued me having taken physics courses a long time ago, and recent ones performed at Rice, found that atoms colliding under super cold conditions actually disappear while passing thru each other. instead of just bouncing off each other as is the current accepted scientific theory. How this is possible?, and of course, further research with have to done to find out why. Perhaps there is another dimension we have no idea of! I.E., atoms can pass through each other and survive intact just as they were before. A pretty wild discovery! techtimes/articles/19432/20141105/atoms-can-do-disappearing-act-in-ultra-cold-conditions-scientists-find-out.htm
