Experts caution on dietary advice purporting to show fat is good...... There are many diets today that promote high fat and very low carbohydrate intake. In Appetite for Life we promote the Ministry of Health advice which is 50+% total kilojoules from high fibre carbohydrates, around 30% kilojoules from fat (keeping saturated fat intake low) and the rest from lean protein.
