Experts from ROBERT OLOGEE: JULY 21, 2014 (Written by Elliott Moore, copyright 2013) THE STEP THAT CHANGED MANKIND EXT: Day Jungle. ROBERT and HIS FRIENDS lost in the jungle. They use their umbrellas like machetes, hacking their way through the dense tropical growth. ROBERT Hey, come on... every body can learn the CONGO, shouted ROBERT. If we dont, will never make it out of this jungle. HAROLD climbs on a rotting stump and begins to share his speech. Placing both hands on his hips, Harold clears his throat and in a nasal vibrato beings... Every one stops. HAROLD On July 20th, in 1969 Neil Armstrong changed the existence of mankind by landing and being the first man to step on the moon. On that day every single eye in the world watched as Neil said the words which will represent not just America but every single place on this earth. “Its one small step of man, One giant leap for mankind” are the words he said as he stepped onto the lunar surface. What that man did…...what that team did was more than just walk on the moon, they defined that mankind can do anything he or she thinks of even if its out of this world. In my opinion, Neil Armstrong was the man who symbolized a Giant Leap that launched mankind into the next levels of science exploration. Examining the last 45 years actually appear to be more akin to the Running of the Bulls, than a Giant Leap..... In fact, our pace on this planet feels like a high speed chase, and a drunken driver at the wheel. Hind sight is always a clearer vantage point.... Perhaps, Mankind is actually still at the crawling stage....hopefully we will learn to take that Giant Leap before the Earth gets any more stormy.... or any more planes get shot done from the sky....? We all need to stop, and all together extend our foot in front of us and look before we leap. EVERYONE YEAHHHHH ROBERT (smiling, speaking now like a fearless Gladiator) Yeah thats the ticket! One foot at a time, so lets go.... put your hands on the waist of the person in front of you.... one, two, three, kick, one, two, three CONGO..... BILL (mumbling, as his long finger lights up in ET fashion). EVERYONE stumbles and comes to a halt. they look like a bowl of spaghetti) Wait! I need music! How can we dance are way out of here with out the music? PINK BEAR (crawling to the top of the pile of body parts, adjusts his ears placing his bow and arrow over his shoulder) If we play that music, OOOTUBE will block us, and then we will never get out of here GOATIS (chimes in, butting his horns into the trunk of a rubber tree) Maybe if we play the music backwards all the algorithms will be messed up.... SCRATCH ( waving his arms) STOP, thats a great idea, lets just turn around and do the CONGO backwards! All do a 180, hands on hips and proceed to do the CONGO ... (ROBERT, thinks to himself... this may work?...ROBERT closes his eyes, takes a deep breath, but something feels not exactly correct..... ROBERT ( V.O.) I feel like I dont belong here..... I feel like a needle in a radioactive haystack...) STAY TUNE....
