Rules for Extension of Family Visit Visa If visit visa is stamped for 30 days, it can be extended 6 more times. It means total stay in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be of 210 days in this case. If visit visa is initially issued for 90 days, it can be extended 2 more times. It means total stay in Saudi Arabia will be of 270 days. The Directorate General of Passport Office (Jawazat) will no longer be extending visit visas for expatriates, except Syrian nationals starting from July 2014. Earlier, visit visas could be renewed for two times after first issuance earlier. However, this restriction is only for 4 months. After Hajj, extension of visit visa will start again. It remains very crowded in early timings. You will find a lot of people sitting in front of Jawazat office along with their computers. You can go to them and ask them to fill all necessary requirements. They will take all the documents and fill the passport form for you. If you have not paid SR 100 for the extension of visit visa, they can pay it on your behalf. In aggregate they will charge around SR 20, 30 and will guide you about the remaining process. He will guide you about the location where you need to go to grab the token. You will be in queue once you have a token in your hand. Once your turn comes, officer will check all your documents and if everything goes fine, you will be issued extension of visa. Check the expiry date of visit visa and see if it is final extension.
