I was just lucky to be able to capture such a vivid and unusual colors. The sunset was not spectacular at all but after the sun completely disappeared below the horizon the illumination changed I was glad I decided to stick around longer than I expected.Initially I took 5 bracketed shots but only used 4 in post processing, the +2 photo was too bright (overexposed). I used HDR processing in Photomatix to tone mapped image. (check my free tutorial HDR Photography with Photomatix)
