Eyyyy everyone, I’m Liesbeth (Leeeees-beth) and I’m super excited to be going to Mac this fall forr … Life Sciences! As you can tell by my name I’m not Canadian, I’m actually Dutch. But I’ve lived in a little town called Collingwood almost my whole life so .. basically Canadian! I love science when it’s not physics, and one of my strongest qualities is procrastination. This will change. 98% sure/hoping. So I’ll just share some random facts about myself I guess! First and most important, I’m a boss at making KD. SUPER useful skill to have in uni so I’m told… I love music. Black Keys, Arcade Fire, Mumford, Edward Sharpe, the National, Bon Iver, Half Moon Run, Dan Mangan, the Strokes, the Vaccines… so many more and it’s killing me to not fill the rest of my post with more artists. Anytime you want to share music I would love to! Movies are also prime. Anything by Quentin Tarrantino = 10/10. Also, Slumdog Millionaire is an all-time fave. So are Harry Potter and LOTR of course. As for shows… Breaking Bad. That is all. 17 going on 18! Gonna be gambling my money away one scratch card at a time starting in October. I guess I can vote too… Also I guesss I should say that I play piano, do art, ski, snowboard, swim, eat (SUSHI), drink, party, drink. Just some of my favourite hobbies. People are cool, so feel free to come over anytime :) Gentlemen of the Road was the best weekend of my life. Hands down. I’m tall… 5’9’’. But I haven’t grown since grade 8 so you could say things are starting to … look up. Puns are the best I’m better at staying up than waking up #1 pet peeve = cellphones in social situations!!!! Also people who walk waaay too slow in malls… And Jim Carrey. I’m sorry. I love: TEA, my homies, concerts, travel, the idea of eating healthy, hikes, and yes, I’ll admit. Starbucks. I dislike: Happy by Pharrell Williams My friends rave so I rave by association. Apparently it’s a thing. There’s more to me I swear, I just have a feeling people will get bored aha I’m soo pumped to be at McMaster next year and meet all you lovely people!
