Ezili Dantòs Note: Bwa Kayiman 2014- Stand your ground Ile a Vache Grenadye alaso sa ki mouri n’ap vanje yo! –Indigenous Army of Ayiti, 1791 The white saviors of Haiti are always announcing that democracy and justice has won, whether its with prosecuting Duvalier or US for cholera through the UN. They make it like the conquered people have a democratic say in what happens to them. This prevents the people from fighting back with guns, because the people waste their efforts pleading with their government to enforce their democratic rights. But the capitalists already bought the government, or better yet, the government believes in the neoliberal worldview and welcomes the capitalists to come in and exploit their nation. Conquered people have no rights, and if they fight back with guns then the empire brings in its armies and destroys the nations infrastructure and eliminates the resisters. Peace is restored, and the capitalists take ownership of what they came for in the first place. --bit.ly/1f9go5n Ayisyen, la sosyete: stop paying attention to the white saviors and self-hating blacks who want to waste your time appealing to the system that brutally oppress Haiti to give Haiti justice. There is no democracy and justice for Haitians in Haiti. And the arbiters of human rights and justice on the international scene are the very organizations - OAS, UN, WB, IMF- who help the conquerors destroy the remaining assets in Desalins land. The people grow tired folks men Ayisyen konnen goumen jiskaske souf nou koupe. Alaso. Every human has the right to self defense. The people at Ile a Vache, for instance did not go to another persons home to attack them, the US-trained agents of empire came to attack them in their homes. Wheres the stand your ground rule for the Ile a Vache population? (Free Île à Vache- pursued by government hound dogs by Ezili Dantò ezilidanto/zili/2014/03/free-ile-a-vache/) The Bwa Kayiman call means: Stop the conquerors, stop their black collaborators and all their evil forces. Evil forces in 1791 are the same as 2014. Its their media, missionaries, military, pèpè schools, churches/religions, diseases/medicines, et al. Kanga Bafyòti. Kanga Mundele. Kanga Ndòki. Kanga yo! Ezilis English translation: The Supreme Creator (E, e, Mbomba, e, e!), Master of Breath shall foil the black collaborators/traitors (kanga bafyòti). Kill/tie up/stop the tyrannical white settlers/colonists, strangers (kanga mundele). Bind all their evil forces/sorcerers (kanga Ndòki). Stop them! Their evil forces remain exactly the same as it was in 1791- their media, the colonial and racist narrative, their military, religion, education, economic thievery... Listen to the Welfare Poets song Sak Pase and their reciting (2:05) of the Bwa Kayiman invocation: E, e, Mbomba! Kanga Bafyòti. Kanga Mundele. Kanga Ndòki. Kanga li! * At Bwa Kayiman, on August 14, 1791, the enslaved Haitian rejected bourgeois freedom and fought for universal justice and freedom. The struggle for human rights and dignity continues today... (See also, Reclaiming the Haitian Peoples Vodun Narrative at Bwa Kayiman at bit.ly/XaY2M ) Ezili Dantò of HLLN March 6. 2014
