Ezra Taft Benson was his good friend. This man graduated Annapolis at age 13. He was concerned with where America was going and tried to educate people about the difference between Free Enterprise and Socialism. He named a Baptist missionary in China who was killed by Mao terrorist because of his great affiliation with the Chinese people, to be honored with his name for the society of Freedom Preservation. thus naming it the John Birch Society. Captain John Birch was the first casualty of the Cold War. Murdered in cold blood. Prior to that and during WWII general Chennault commissioned him and officer in the US army and directed him to evacuate the famous Captain Doolittle and his bombers in Inland China. John Birch was born in China to Baptist Missionary parents and spoke as a native Chinese and was loved by those people. John Wayne was also a good friend and associate in arms with Robert Welch and Ezra Taft Benson. I am sure that when America finally realizes what such great and noble actions were taken by the above mentioned men, then and finally will honor and credit be displayed in historical documentation relating to the continuing preservation of Freedom, the main battle that originated in Heaven. Until such time as when pure Freedom shall ring again, such great men and women will not be honored here on Earth. The Heavens, for those who dont deny them, speak differently.
