ZERA chief executive officer Gloria Magombo says the agreement between Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission And Distribution Company (ZETDC) and a Chinese energy company, China Africa Sunlight Energy worth over 2 billion dollars was signed by president Robert Mugabe in august and has since been reviewed to check compliance with the countrys tariffs and international standards. === Head of the aids and tuberculosis unit in the health ministry Dr Owen Mugurungi says they have launched a know your child status campaign- which seeks to encourage parents to get their children tested for hiv . The campaign which will run until December will offer free HIV testing and counselling services in Mashonaland West and Midlands and in Chiredzi, Goromonzi, Chipinge and Marondera districts . ==== Harare city council says is planning to engage private debt collectors in recovering more than 250 million dollar debt owed by various ratepayers. Speaking to star fm, Harare mayor councillor Bernard Manyenyeni says this will help council improve service delivery. ==== Harare city council says it has completed the registration of vendors in the central business district which began on the 23rd of September this year. City councils spokesperson Mr Leslie Gwindi said the council will soon begin allocating vending places to registered vendors. Mr Gwindi said the purpose of this exercise is to legalize vending. He however said those selling perishable foods such as meat will not be given vending places as this is a health hazard. === In regional and international news Kenyas government has dismissed allegations made by the countrys catholic church that a tetanus vaccine being administered can cause sterility in women. Catholic priests have been telling their congregations to boycott a campaign that begins on Monday to vaccinate women against tetanus. However the countrys health minister James Macharia said it is a safe certified vaccine, adding that the vaccine is necessary in the prevention of deaths amongst new babies due to tetanus infection. === The who says the death toll from the Ebola virus outbreak has risen to 4,447. World health organization assistant director-general Bruce also said there could be up to 10,000 new cases a week within two months if efforts are not intensified. Reports say the receipt had a handwritten note at the bottom that read pink fat lady, apparently to identify her as she waited for her order. France 24 reports that Aili Si posted on pizza hut Singapores face book page a photo of the receipt, saying she felt insulted at the description. Meanwhile pizza hut has issued an apology saying, this incident goes against their corporate values and that the company will not condone behavior or actions that offend people.
