FACEBOOK NATION : Chapter 4 page #125...THE TRUTH... A case of art imitated life or just one crazy coincidence. The song below was sent to me by a very good friend of mine yesterday. He did this after reading that last page where I tried to explain why I do this thing called The Truth. Im not embarrassed to tell you it made me laugh and cry both at the same time. The similarities between this song and my life seem to be quite uncanny. I will say though that the line in the song that says dont believe in everything you read may be true. But this is The Truth and you can believe what you read here. I have another good friend that usually helps out here at The Truth when it comes to musical inspiration. I just call him my music man for short. Being I dont like to leave the house much and there are a lot of people that I couldnt care less about meeting the music helps with my writing. Its the stories inside the music that bring back memories both good and bad. This in turn helps me tell you the things I do. Rest assured it is the truth its just that sometimes it can be a little hard to tell it without a little push. I have gotten a little help in doing this story from almost all of you. You didnt know that now did you? I personally know most of you or Ive met you in passing or maybe read something youve posted here. After all this is just a story of this old guys life and in one way or another most of you have touched it. To be truthful and thats what we do here. This thing got started because I was looking for a little attention. Well it has turned into something bigger than that. Ill bet that son of mine thinks that he created a monster since setting me up with this f.b. page. I need to thank him though because it has become something I enjoy doing. Can you believe some people think that I should compile these pages into a book. Its a never ending story though and you are all in it. You and those new characters I add when I do leave the house on one of them trips with Shadow. Something we are going to have to work on being we havent been anywhere new as of late. As the song says Im getting used to saying hello. Some of you know that I can be kind of a hard person to get to know. I choose my friends carefully for a reason. You get that way from experience. Im sure the friends I have here know what Im talking about. I am a lucky man to have such a great family and such a great big circle of friends. And that circle has been growing lately. The thought that most of you are probably half my age is really something. It means a lot to an old fella that doesnt get out much. My children have some great people around them. It does their fathers heart good to know that. For now we have to go and by we I mean Shadow and myself. Shes looking a little neglected. You cant keep a good dog down.
