FAITH and PERSEVERANCE are what most Filipinos equipped to go through their battle. May not have the luxury that most countries do, but WE survived. IF only our politicians will do the right things for our people, MOST of US that lives overseas will come back for good. But NO! Relief goods that are meant to be for the victims, they are still hindering it and not giving the right amount/quantity to those victims. Hungry and thirsty for days are so inhumane, ACTIONS is what we need the most, not PROMISES. Kids are involve here, people that needs medical attention has to tended A.S.A.P.. These people didnt have anywhere to go before the landfall of Haiyan. Most of them cannot afford to fly out of their islands. People elect their president, HOPING that that person WILL ACT what is good for the country and its people, not what is good for their own pockets. WAKE UP PHILIPPINES! OUR COUNTRY produced millions of high calibrated professionals (doctors, nurses, lawyers, engineers, teachers, etc.), but they chose to leave our precious land because of corruption, and not being able to get paid for what they are worth. Breaks everyones heart every time we turn our attention to media, not only for the tremendous devastation of Haiyan, but for the POOR ACTIONS of our government and still blocking the goods and help from other countries. IF any of our officials cant do their jobs, AT LEAST, STEP OUT OF THE WAY and let the other countries take care of our people. GO ON WITH YOUR EXTRAVAGANT LIFESTYLES, while you are watching your fellow countrymen dying, with hunger and thirst. While they are sleeping on the ground, not being able to change their clothes, or a place to call home! There is always a bright light at the end of the tunnel. GET UP PHILIPPINES, gain your strength and fight again. God Bless YOU ALL!
