FALL... My first attempt at decorating for FALL. My oldest daughter, Suzanna Ashleigh Ferreira, made the most gorgeous wreath for her front door and had all kinds of cute fall decorations. So I thought I should do something for my sad looking front doors. I will be honest, fall is not my favorite season. It signals winter is coming and I love summer. I love flip flops I wear during the summer. I love sand between my toes, the smell of Hawaiian Tropic, grilling out on our back patio, eating meals out by the pool, and beach towels draped over chairs drying in the sun. But most of all I love the long days filled with sunshine during the summer months. I know, I know, I read your FB statuses. You LOVE AUTUMN and are so grateful for the cooler weather. You love the candles that smell of pumpkin and apples. And for the long awaited arrival of pumpkin lattes at Starbucks... I wish I felt the same way, but I mourn summer ending. :) Anyway, I am trying to get over these feelings and decorate this year for falls arrival. I even made the wreaths for the front door. So I welcome you fall. May you be ushered in with Thanksgiving and celebration - and may you and winter pass quickly so I can look forward to another summer. :)
