FALSE LOGIC “Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in - TopicsExpress

FALSE LOGIC “Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.” (Proverbs 9:17) The verse above summarizes the false logic of boys and girls who engage themselves in immorality. They say they are enjoying life, having fun, having the best time of their lives. Not only that, they persuade other youths to join them. They make fun of sin and pretend as if the Bible is an outdated book that is irrelevant for man today. From Bible days till now, immorality has always destroyed those who indulge in it. Read Numbers 25:14,15. There you see how Zimri, an Israelite went into immorality with Cozbi a Midianite. Both died while “having fun”. You know the story of the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priest in Shiloh. These boys were deep into the sin of fornication & other vices. (1 Sam 2:22) even though they still continued to appear in the temple carrying out their responsibilities and assignments in the temple. The game ended on a tragic note as the two immoral church workers died the same day. Immorality is a sin against God for which those that are involved will ultimately pay for it dearly. And in any case have you forgotten the scourge of AIDS? Believe it or not it is real. Think again before you say stolen waters are sweet, for you will eventually vomit all such water that you drink. Remember there is no peace to the wicked, says the Lord. The way out is to repent and turn a new leaf. Do that today. Wrote by: Deeper Life Bible Church Leeds
