FARM REPORT: MEMO Dear Farm Lady, I am perfectly aware that you tried to pass off a knock off cheapo brand of my Kountry Buffet this morning. This is totally unacceptable and, as you found this morning, I will not stand still for this. There are certain standards which should be maintained in any facility, even in a “less than pristine” place such as this. As you know, there are certain work place issues I could bring to the attention of the proper authorities that would not shed a very positive light on your little facility, such as: 1.The frequency with which you change the 3 measly fly strips hanging in the barn. 2.The sloppy application of fly spray, resulting in severe eye irritation and possible respiratory issues. 3.The prodding with sharp objects of innocent cows who are not moving at your required “lightning speed”. (I believe the use of dangerous objects such as these have been banned in most states). 4.The failure to provide the customary music as originally agreed upon (you’re feeble attempt at singing doesn’t count). 5.The distractive use of a cell phone use in the work place (I did hear your phone “ding”). I have, in the past, remained silent about these “issues”. However, I will be forced to speak to the proper authorities if you do not rectify the grain situation. Until that time, I will not be entering the stanchion. Sincerely, Rosie P.S. I believe the snide remark concerning the quality of my milk this morning was uncalled for, especially since what you call “blue milk” might be a positive thing for, shall we say, rather “fluffy” farm ladies.
