FATAH SIGNS RECONCILIATION DEAL WITH HAMAS Fatah under Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian Authority has once again shown its true colors. As if the incitement of hatred, propagation of lies and glorification of terrorism was not enough, the Palestinian Authority has now reconciled with Hamas, an Iranian-sponsored U.S. and E.U.-designated terrorist organization unabashedly committed to the annihilation of the State of Israel. Hamas was founded in Gaza in1987 by Shaikh Ahmed Yassin. When Israel disengaged from Gaza in 2005 as a gesture for peace, the residents of Gaza elected Hamas, best known for its suicide bombings and other attacks mainly directed at Israeli civilians. Hamas charter calls for the destruction of the State of Israel and its replacement with an Islamic state from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean See. Hamas’ objective - the destruction of Israel - is also readily apparent in its videos and media.
