FAVORITE THINGS!!! I love to read and I love books, but I dont usually hold on to books once Ive read them. I like to share my books with others. Plus I dont like dusting them. LOL :) This year, one of my book buddies shared a rather old book with me...Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston. Difficult dialect but so worth the effort. I also finished the Walk Series by Richard Paul Evans. Since the series was spread out over 4 years, I will probably read again as one book. That good! Both Gary and I read The Hungry Ocean by Linda Greenlaw. Do you remember the female captain in The Perfect Storm? Thats her. I found her and the book fascinating. Why not give the gift of reading this Christmas? I will be giving Two Frogs on a Bike by local author Sandra Ames (illustrated by Pomfret School student, Rebecca Pempek) to some little ones on my list. Happy Reading!!! Karen O.
