FAVOUR UPON FAVOUR! The story of Chief Okon from Yola in Northern Nigeria was one full of limitations. Despite being a chartered accountant, his career remained stagnant. He watched his peers and those he himself had trained, ascend the ladder of promotions to levels of Commissioners while he stood and watch with pain. To feed himself and the family and to send the children to school was not an easy task. It was while in the chains of such limitations that in 2013 they decided to seek the face of God and they came to The SCOAN where they prayed and received the Anointing Water. Back home, they prayed in the name of Jesus Christ with faith that God would give would locate him. He ministered the Anointing Water and three days later, he received a call from a man he did not even know working for government in the capital Abuja, asking him to file his CV to his office. He was surprised, it was the first time that someone had asked for his resume without him expressing interest. He was told government was looking for a man to do a job involving the verification of solid minerals for southern states. A few days later, the same man called and told him that his name had been confirmed. Glory be to God, that marked the end of his limitations as he went on to carry out the project satisfactorily. Today, they live a happy life of progress and building houses which they could not in their former financial state. In another testimony, he told of a fatal accident in which he and members of his family were involved as they travelled from attending his son’s wedding. While the car was a write-off after the crash, they all came out without a scratch – another sign that not only his financial and material status had increased but also that his spiritual life had ascended to a higher level through the Anointing Water. They advised people to believe and trust in God, saying, “Ask and you shall receive.”
