FAZ DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE ORDERS NKANA AND BLADES TO PLAY REMAINDER OF SEASON BEHIND CLOSED DOORS The Football Association of Zambia Disciplinary Committee sitting at Football House this afternoon has ruled that Nkana FC forfeits last weeks abandoned Super League match against Konkola Blades FC. The ruling means that Nkana, who were trailing by goal at the time of abandonment of the game, lose the match via a 3-0 score line. The Committee, chaired by Lusaka lawyer Anthony Kasolo, fined Nkana and Blades K2,500 each and further ordered that both Nkana and Blades play the remainder of their 2013 home league games behind closed doors. The Committee also recommended to Football House the immediate suspension of Match Commissioner M.D Mweemba who was in charge of the Blades vs Nkana fixture. The next session of the Disciplinary Committee will be held at the end of the coming week to deal with all other outstanding matters. It will also table the matter of football official Andre Mtine who was at the centre of the matter of the three TP Mazembe players failure to travel to China for an international match. Source: FAZ
