FBF - - - Freedom ~ A Powerful Word - If you live in a free country, like I do, then you have someone to thank for that freedom. In America, a lot of people have died to win and fight for the freedoms we enjoy. Today is Remembrance or Armistice Day - a wonderful day to give thanks to a veteran! November 11th is the anniversary for the signing of the Armistice that ended World War I. President Woodrow Wilson first proclaimed it a holiday in 1919. In 1953 a shoe store owner, Al King, had the idea to expand this holiday to include all veterans. So to all the veterans out there: Now on tomorrow - November 11, 2013 {Monday} HAVE A BLESSED VETERANS DAY AND THANK YOU for fighting for our freedom!!!!!
