FEATURED ARTIST OF OCTOBER: Thomas Riess I met Thomas just recently due to a group exhibition we are going to participate later this year at the Art Collectors Club Infeld in Halbturn/Austria (infeld.net). His paintings seem to manifest out of some sort of artificial noise, like a signal from a different reality, transformed and converted in a very peculiar way. However, after having a closer look it turns out that each single bit of this signal is a little piece of correction tape meticulously placed in its position - by hand.
