FEMA NIMS ICS-400: Advanced Incident Command System Oct. 2-3, 2013 Helena, Montana This delivery which expands upon the material covered in ICS-100 through ICS-300. ICS 400 focuses on large single-agency and complex multi-agency/multi-jurisdictional incident response. *This is a TetraTech delivery sponsored by US EPA Region 8 and will include an emphasis on managing incident with a significant potential for environmental impact. This course meets all requirements for NWCG ICS-400 and FEMA G-400. This is an advanced command level course and is intended for managers and supervisors from response agencies from jurisdictions at any level who would have to work together to handle a complex incident or planned event from an Incident Command Post or Emergency Operations Center. Target disciplines include Fire (including HazMat, Rescue); Law Enforcement; Hospital / EMS response; Emergency Management; Public Health, Public Works, and members of state and federal agencies such as the National Guard or the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Existing or prospective Command and General staff members from All-Hazard Type 3 Incident Management Teams are also encouraged to attend. Prerequisites: ICS/IS-100, ICS/IS-200, and ICS-300 FEMA Independent Study IS-700 and IS-800 Location: Helena Colonial Red Lion Inn, 2301 Colonial Drive, Helena, MT 59601 Times: 8 am to 5 pm both days (Oct 2 & 3).
