FENCING TIPs: Did you know yoga is an excellent way to cool down or warm up for fencing? When used after practice as a cool down Yoga helps fencers relax and help loosen and remove waste products from the muscles. During the cool down, the exercises are held longer, for 15 to 30 seconds each. Because of injury some fencers use the less strenuous Yoga exercises as their beginning warm-up instead of the Linear and Lateral sequences.
