FG DECLARES A TWO-DAY PUBLIC HOLIDAY Category: News Published on Monday, 05 August 2013 18:14 Written by Joshua Odeyemi Hits: 748 The Federal Government of Nigeria has declared Thursday, 8th and Friday, 9th August 2013, Public Holiday to mark Eid-el-Fitri Salah Celebrations. The Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Moro, made the declaration on Monday on behalf of the Federal Government. He enjoined all Muslim faithfuls and Nigerians in general to extend the spiritual benefits of Ramadan to their daily living and through this, contribute to the development of the nation. Comrade Moro also enjoined all Nigerians to seize the opportunity of the holiday to reflect on the imperative of peace in nation building.
