VENDE PARTICIPACIÓN EN LA EMPRESA :: MARAWORLD SA SELLS SHAREHOLDING Denis Desmond y SJM Concerts han adquirido conjuntamente una parte considerable de las acciones de Maraworld SA, empresa matriz del Festival Internacional de Benicàssim (FIB). Vince Power permanece como accionista en Maraworld SA. Continuará ejerciendo como Director General hasta agosto de 2013. FIB no se ve afectado por esta adquisición y la edición de este año sigue adelante como estaba planeado del 18 al 21 de julio. Vince Power comenta: “El difícil clima económico, unido al mal año sufrido por Music Festivals PLC ha motivado mi decisión de vender una participación considerable del Festival de Benicàssim. Estoy satisfecho de que dos de los más importantes promotores de festivales europeos sean ahora socios. FIB es uno de los festivales mejor establecidos y más amados del mundo y yo quería asegurar el futuro del festival por muchos años. Me congratula que hayamos encontrado excelentes socios para llevar FIB hacia adelante en una nueva fase y garantizar a los fans que está asegurado y es sólido este año y los años venideros. El año que viene, FIB celebra su 20 aniversario y espero vivir muchos más memorables festivales en los años que vienen.” Los cabezas de cartel de este año son The Killers, Queens of The Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys, Primal Scream y Beady Eye, con Kaiser Chiefs, Dizzee Rascal, The Courteeners, Hurts, Deap Vally, Jake Bugg y Azealia Banks también confirmados, junto con una larga lista de otros grupos que se pueden consultar en fiberfib +++++ MARAWORLD SA SELLS SHAREHOLDING Denis Desmond and SJM Concerts have jointly acquired a major shareholding in Maraworld SA, parent company of Festival Internacional de Benicàssim (FIB). Vince Power remains a shareholder in Maraworld SA. He will continue in charge as Managing Director until August 2013 FIB is in no way affected by the acquisition and this year’s festival will go ahead as planned 18-21 July 2013. Vince Power comments, “The difficult economic climate coupled with the bad year suffered by Music Festivals PLC has prompted my decision to sell a major shareholding in Benicàssim festival. I am pleased that 2 of Europe’s best known Festival Promoters are now taking part. FIB is one of the world’s most established and best-loved live music events and I wanted to ensure the future of the festival for many years to come. I am pleased we have found great partners to take Benicàssim forward to its next phase and to guarantee it is secure and solid for the fans, this year and every year.
