FINALLY... for years those nasty ranchers have been murdering bison every time they step out of their only place of freedom- Yellowstone national park. They slaughtered hundreds of them already this year and were nearing a thousand. But finally after all of the shouting and yelling the supreme court has heard everyone who signed the petitions to save the last of these wild symbols. Wild bison are free to roam outside of the park into Montana. some years up to a third of the population was captured and slaughtered at the boundaries of the park in order to keep numbers in check while the park carnivores such as wolves, mountain lions and bears had to work that much harder to find food. However there is always a downside to this... these animals only get to roam past the boundaries until May 1... and then ... we dont know. we won a battle, but there is still the war. If you eat meat, know what ranches your meat is coming from. Because you could be very well contributing to the needless killing of the animals that rightfully belong to this land. Cattle are NOT native animals.
