A name is the symbol of a persons identity When you invoke the name of God you invoke POWER Proverbs 18:10 THE COVENANT NAMES OF GOD -Jehovah Jireh (Genesis 22:14) Anything we need God provides - 1kings 17:5-6 So he went and did according to the word of the Lord. He went and lived by the brook Cherith that is east of the Jordan. 6 And the ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook. (ESV) Why should God provide for me? .HE loves me .God Cares for me .I am his child What Does God provide to me? - God provides Good things for us(Psalm 34:10) -He makes sure that there is no destruction in your life (Psalm 103:1-4) - Psalm 84:11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly. -Job 38:41 Who provides for the raven its prey, when its young ones cry to God for help, and wander about for lack of food? 2. GOD is faithful What does God do to prove He is faithful? -God fights our battles - God also takes away every sickness (Deut 7:15) 3. Another name for God is I AM WHO I AM
