October 13, 2014 Todays Prayer Dear Jesus the mediator to the Father in Heaven, Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. (Psalms 46:10 KJV) Lord, Your words lead us to the calmness and greatness of Your Presence. There are very few people who realize what God would make of them if they abandoned themselves into his hands, and let themselves be formed by his love and grace. I ask for the grace to trust myself totally to Your love. Within this day Jesus, lead...guide...direct and strengthen me that I will make and be the change NOW! Thank You for the lessons I have learned. Most of all, thank You for being there with me through it all and for carrying me all the way. Lord Jesus and my heavenly Father, thank You for my help meet...Genesis 2:18, my lover and friend-my wife...Thank You for her strength and abilities given by You. Continue to be her support and guide in a time such as these...Allow us to continue the growth in You that You have begun over 40 years ago in this union...Let not anything even attempt to destroy or come between us in any shape, form nor fashion...help us to remember too, Gods Demand For Obedience and Acceptance of His call... Daniel 10: 7-15 (topic using these verses 13-15 KJV) 7 And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves. 8 Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength. 9 Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground. 10 And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands. 11 And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling. 12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. 14 Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days. 15 And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb. Plans do not always go as we hope. Sometimes they are hindered for our purposes. Sometimes we are dealing in a spiritual realm in which we realize we are truly in a spiritual battle. And sometimes we are even hindered to protect us. However, perseverance and Gods grace allows us to be where and when we need and should be timely. Important initiatives can result from the brief time we may be wherever we are to be. The next time your plans are thwarted, begin asking what is at the root of the calamities. Ask God for discernment on what is taking place. Just as He revealed to Daniel, God will show you what is behind such occurrences. Be Blessed...Stand for truth as God has said it...
