FIRECRACKERS wont make us happy. What will is the relief that it brings after. Its madness when it severs fingers, its mortido, a death wish, when it kills. Some say it drives away the devil, but the assault the big explosion and the toxin they foist on the environment is the devils clarion call? True, it shakes the rafters of the mind to a temporary insanity to forget our mundane problems, but its insanity all right, an imitation of Nero fiddling the lyre while Rome burns. The author of life, the God of Creation, fashioned a beautiful universe. a galaxy of planets, moon and stars, out of the chaos of darkness. Let the Christmas lights and stars be symbolic of Him who after the bloody crucifixion of our savior Jesus Christ, now brings us the unifying and sanctifying grace of LOVE.
