FLOOD ADVISORY FOR: Allegheny Armstrong Westmoreland The national weather service in pittsburgh has issued a * Flood advisory for... Allegheny county in southwest pennsylvania... Westmoreland county in southwest pennsylvania... Armstrong county in west central pennsylvania... * Until 200 pm edt * At 1229 pm edt national weather service radar continued to show heavy rain over eastern allegheny county moving slowly to the northeast. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause elevated levels on small creeks and streams...And ponding of water in urban areas... Highways...Streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage areas and low lying spots. If heavy rain continues to fall over the advised area...A warning may be needed.
