Rainfall amounts between 2 and 3 inches will be common during the overnight with locally higher amounts to 4 inches possible. This rain will cause ponding on roadways and flooding of poor drainage area, streams and creeks. A flood advisory means river or stream flows are elevated or ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
