People’s party governor for central region Kizito Ngwembe no more Sorrow has engulfed the Malawi’s ruling People’s Party following the death of Kiziti Ngwembe who until his death was the party’s governor for the central province. Ngwembe died around 5 o’clock am on Saturday South African where he was receiving medical treatment. Party spokesperson Mr. Hophmally Makande has confirmed the death to zodiak radio. Ngwembe made headlines in the country media fraternity in April 2013 when he said civil servants who sympathised with the opposition risked losing jobs. “Some civil servants and officials at the judicially are being ungrateful. You have given them freedom but they have chosen to abuse it. Even in Heaven, God expelled Satan, so why should you spare them. “Even right here among PP youths, we have people who are qualified enough to work in the judiciary or at Capital Hill. Let me warn, if you continue sparing them, we will take laws in our hands and kick them out of offices,” Ngwembe said at Masintha ground in Lilongwe in April when he was serving as campaign director. Meanwhile, president Joyce Banda has cancelled campaign rallies which the party lined up for this weekend.
