FLOOD ADVISORY FOR POUDRE RIVER IN LARIMER COUNTY EXTENDED TO SATURDAY, JUNE 14th: The water levels are slowing receding in the Poudre River; however, The National Weather Service is extending the FLOOD ADVISORY for the Cache La Poudre River at the Canyon Mouth in Larimer County until Saturday evening, June 14th. • At 9:45 a.m. Monday morning, June 9th, the stage of the Poudre was 6.0 feet, Flood Stage is 7.5 feet. • The forecast is for the river to rise again to near 6.3 feet again tonight. • At 6.0 feet, water is over the bike path and trail along the river in and near Fort Collins. Persons with interests along these rivers are urged to use caution. Please avoid flooded areas and stay clear of river banks that could become unstable due to high flows.
