** FLOOD WARNING FOR COASTAL RIVERS AND ADJACENT INLAND STREAMS BETWEEN PROSERPINE AND GLADSTONE ** Issued at 8:56 pm EST on Sunday 13 April 2014 by the Bureau of Meteorology, Brisbane. Issue Number: 3 Heavy rainfall associated with Tropical Cyclone Ita will continue over the warning area and will gradually move south overnight Sunday. Rainfall totals of at least 100mm to 200mm are likely and isolated falls of up to 400mm are possible. Since 9am Sunday, rainfall totals between 50mm and 190mm have been recorded in coastal areas between Proserpine and Gladstone, with the highest totals in the northern part of the warning area. River level rises above the minor flood level are expected across the warning area. Catchments at risk include the Proserpine, Pioneer, Fitzroy and Calliope Rivers. The situation will be closely monitored and individual catchment flood warnings will be issued if required. A Tropical Cyclone Advice remains in force. Remember: If its flooded, forget it.
