FOCUS A mind power programme for students to improve Focus and do well in Exams Dear friends SAT,GRE, GMAT , CAT and other competitive exams require you to be at your thinking best. These are not tests which require you to cram but rather be calm and relaxed at the time of the test and you should be able to think at your best during the test. For this it is important that you are in a very good, positive, focused and relaxed state of mind which is often called as the alpha state of mind. The FOCUS guided meditations in this CD help students reach this relaxed and stress free state of mind. The meditations and visualisations have helped students significantly in their preparation and the final exam as well and also have had many additional benefits such as stress free mind and increased productivity and efficiency. These meditations will help you to become master at meditation and achieving the alpha state of mind (8 to 12 Hz). There are different brain frequencies which can be measured. When we meditate we go to a relaxed and focused state of mind and our productivity goes up many fold. They will also help you to get good sleep at night, improve your focus and concentration, reduce your stress levels, improve health and well-being and keep you in a calm and serene state of mind throughout the day. This is an acknowledgement of the great help that I received from you to win a targeted GMAT score that is likely to help me on my dream-journey. I am taking the liberty to elaborate and explain a bit. I have 11 yrs of work-ex and thought a 700 GMAT score would place me very well for applications to good universities across the globe. I had given up my job in June to cull out this dream. I took the GMAT in mid-August with as much preparation as would register in the old head of mine. I thought I had covered decent ground. But I had too much at stake --- a stretched dream and on the other hand a good deal of responsibilities with no job at hand. I started sleeping less just before the exam and could not get myself off the tension. As a result I felt tired all through the day. While I did manage a couple of 700 odd scores at home -- I landed up with a 650 in the original GMAT -- which I felt was less than my potential and definitely less than my target.
