FOOD & BEVERAGE MONTH I took my baby to the pizza parlor.....to get a bite to eatLOL The Sylvers were the J5 on steroids. More of them,bigger afros,male & female (Olympia was a dime piece ;-)). The Sylvers came in on a wave of family groups in the early 70s,inspired by the Jackson 5s ascension. They also would develop a style & sound of their own, that unfortunately wasnt given time to mature. While they didnt have a prodigious talent like Michael Jackson fronting them,they had a supreme writing talent in older brother Leon. Leon Sylvers III would move on & become a prolific writer/Producer for Solar records.....& have TONS of hits through the 80s.
